Distrubtion of Food around the world!!?

Who thinks we need a better distrubtion system to share the food of the world? If you do how would it work, who or what Country or Countries would run it? Why should have have starving people in our own Countries? There is plenty to go around? Why do we waste so much food?

yess... we ought to have a new system.... and the sole solution is free trade coupled with a mechanism to move on to it grasually while having a mechanism to address the short term effects of free trade... and besides free trade has to be true to its word..

I do. I did some reasearch for a paper on poverty. and I learned that if they took all the food in the world and divided it up, every person would get about 4.5 pounds of food. Thats enough to make most people fat.
